REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: TRANSFORMER II

Labuan Cinema Respond

I have been waiting for the sequel of the transformer to come out since 2006 when the first transformer showed in cinema. I guess this is my first movie that I have waited for so long. It is the first time I am inside this state of anticipation.

My time plan does not seem so right in the end. I planned to watch this highly anticipated movie of mine long before I went to Kuching for my elective posting. However, when I was in Kuching, the movie still not coming out and when I did get back to Kota Kinabalu, still nothing. When I reached Labuan, my beloved hometown, the movie suddenly burst into the cinema .

There is one cinema in Labuan which is so small but has a good screen and sound system. Only small. I guess I have to watch the movie in this small place. I need to watch it. This is the only cinema in Labuan though. I went to the cinema as earlier as possible and asked the counter girl there regarding the movie and the answer is simple. 'I don't know'. But, the media already said that the movie is now on in cinema near you. Still the answer was 'I don't know'.

With a lot of frustration and determination, I really need to go and watch the movie. I don't want to listen to others opinion before me. I want to judge the movie myself.

A trip to Transformer II

So I decided to pack my stuff and grab a Rm 5 ticket and Rm14 bus ticket to Kota Kinabalu. This is my last resort. Without further thinking and consideration, I went to Kota Kinabalu. 2 ½ hours journey plus 1 ½ hours of ferry journey across the sea from Labuan to the mainland, finally I reached Kota Kinabalu. The sun was hot and I was a little confused when I reached the town. I only left the town for one month and now I am totally blurred regarding the bus station and how to get anywhere using bus.

The Bus Terminal reactivated

As I wonder around Kota KInabalu, I was totally confused. The Labuan Bus that usually stop at Wawasan now stop at Taman. And bus to go to UMS usually stop at Taman now nowhere to be found yet by me. I am stuck for a few minutes then I called my friend asking him on how to get to UMS by bus nowadays. Vague answers is all I get.

A few years ago all the buses in Kota Kinabalu stop at Terminal Wawasan. However, I remember that the place is not convenient and that is why the changed the location (or divide) to other places more convenient. Terminal Wawasan was a legendary Bus Station ever since. A few bus stop at Wawasan, a few including UMS stop at Taman.

Now the system become more simple I think. All the bus stop at Wawasan. So to get to Milimewah or any other places inside KK town, you have to take City Bus sector 2. Cool name. Sector 2 is around town. Take that yellow city bus and pay 50 cent, you can get around sector 2. Where is sector 2? You can look at the map inside the bus. I just remember that the sector 2 include Wet Market, Philipine Market, Centre point, Milimewah and along that road. Maybe this will provide better result since it becoming more systematic.

Lining up for the revenge

The fever for the second transformer movie is as equal if not more with the influenza virus pandemic. It is pandemic. I decided to watch the movie with my old time buddy and roommate as usual but we were shocked looking at the line to get the ticket. It was the first Sunday since the movie published. So it was expected that the line was so long. You will never see a line so long like this one in 1borneo GSC. Thinking that it is impossible to get the ticket there, so the easier way to watch movie were the Growball Cineplex in Centre Point. Seem like that place always have a seat for everybody.

Nevertheless, the line in Growball Cineplex also long. And when we reached the counter, all the hall was packed. We came at 1.00pm and we had to buy the 4.10 pm ticket. The fever is real. This movie is not like any other movie. I will give my review and opinion later regarding this movie.

UMS freshie

To save my budget, I stayed in my own room in UMS hostel. I found out that the first year student already in for their orientation. It I always fun to look at first year junior, so immature, and so arrogant. But they are less arrogant than the second year which is also there right now to become the facilitator of the junior.

First year is acceptable to be arrogant a little. This is because they were to new to this world of campus and everything. They did not experience anything yet. They must be proud getting into the university. So proud until some of them wear those nametag while shopping around town. What the heck. Haha. To cute to be true. How cute is that. A UMS student wearing a name tag to town.

But not a problem for them. We also must not laugh too much because they are new to this environment. Let them be them for a moment. We do not need to change a person to become us so rapidly.

The arrogant one is of course the second year which happen to be the facilitator. I know, they already got some experience spending some time in UMS and Kota Kinabalu, and their tiny experience are need to guide this junior.

As people develop to become 3rdm 4th and now I am in 5ht year, they will understand the importance of being humble as you grow up. Sometime you would miss your naïve life when you were so young.

However

However, I was a little tension with the junior, because I was in KK for only a day and I need to settle my thing quickly. My family ask me to buy something and I need to catch a bus. I have little time to do all this. I know that bus will be impossible inside UMS during the first Sunday after orientation day. So I walk outside, around 1 km climbing up hill and exposing myself to the sun to reach the gate. Not 1 km. I think it is 2 km or under the hot sun it would become 3km. When I reach the gate, I was surprise that junior nowadays are far more clever than us back then.

I remember when I was in first year, first weekend, when I want to take a bus to KK, and all the bus stop inside UMS was full, I decided to go the gate and wait for bus there since they were no other new student knew that trick. But now… they knew.

All the bus was full and I have to stand for 20 minutes under hot sun across the road at Alam mesra to get a bus. The junior wait in front of 1borneo to get a bus to KK. What is wrong with them? Waiting at 1 borneo for the bus, they can just enjoy themselves there in 1borneo. What is there in KK to visit. Young people are unpredictable. I manage to get a bus and ride it to KK with a bunch of junior that occupied the bus. Everyone is talking about their life before this and some who knows the road were acting as a tourist guide showing what is there and what is that.

I was fed up with them. Haha. I could not do anything because I was with them waiting bus, I was like them with this backpack on my back. I was just like them. Hahaha. I would not bring my back to town at usual time. This time I had to because I was bringing my stuff to get back to Labuan. Weird to be with them. Haha. Grotesque.

Junior in danger

I think the juniors are in danger wearing that name tag to town. Someone might spotted them as a newcomer to the city and bad thing could happen. Let us just hope that nothing happen to them. Sometimes, people can be cruel. And UMS students are one of the usual victims for this kind of people.

Safely back to Labuan

Nothing much happen on my journey back to Labuan. Except along the road from Centre point to the Labuan bus station, everyone is looking at me. Why? Did I look so weird? Or do I look like first year junior so that people would like to get a very good look at my face? Haha. Weird again.

Transformer VS Transformer II: Revenge of the Fallen

Ok. The second movie is highly anticipated. The fever can be felt anywhere around the world. I admit it. Why this happen? Because the fantastic and brilliant of the first movie. The first movie was too good until everyone want to see its sequal. And here it is. The revenge of the fallen.

What do I think about the movie? I can describe it shorly as – abuse of explosive and overwhelming CGI non-stop action movie-. The movie is full of action, amazing graphic, abundant of explosion, cool plot and exhausting. For rm5 that I pay for the ticket, It was too worthy. I can pay rm15 if they asked me to. This movie was the best movie of this summer. You don't need to wait for the climax, the climax is there for 2 hours and 42 minutes.

The autobot and decepticons design is much more details and a lot of new character to be explored. The important thing is the CGI. How do they make the robot that big so real? I could not believe my eyes. You can't separate the CGI and the real one. Everything seem so real. Like the machine is there and alive. How fantastic is that.

The intro of the movie was brilliant showing how the soldiers with the autobot try to stop a large decepticons in China. I could not believe the airplane drop a big truck from the air and the truck transform into optimus prime landed on a flyover and the flyover crushed by that big deceptions with one blow and everything was exploding, the car, the helicopter and optimus manage to manipulate that impact to get on to that decepticons head. It was truly amazing. What to expect more than this? To describe every amazing action in this movie is impossible as I said, it was 2 hours and 42 minutes actions non stop. Only stop maybe less than one minute for the audience to catch a breath maybe.

So how is this movie compare to the previous one. Unfortunately, I would choose the first one as much better than this one. I don't know why. I liked the second one so much but I can't stop thinking of the first one.

I still remember the first transformer movie intro where that helicopter destroy US airbase in Iraq easily and how human was running and did not know what to do without the help of the autobots. In this second movie, the human giving order to autobots. What the heck is that? How ego are us the human. U guess this is what I hate about the second movie. The soldiers seem to be more in control than the robots. They act like they were true hero instead of the autobots. Not like the first one.

Remember in the first one, a scorpion decepticons in the desert where the army try to knock it down but they could not. Only one machine vs human with lot or air strike support. Still could not match. That is what I am talking about. How the machine is much more powerful. In this second movie, human became so powerful, they shoot a rocket and hit the decepticons and the decepticons die. They ask the cluster bomber to bomb the decepticons, then the machine all die. Not as I expect. I expect the machine would be tougher as in the first movie.

So because of this, I hate to say that the first movie of transformer is legendary. However, I choose the second one to watch. Too worthy.

I will definitely watch this movie again. Maybe 3-4 times in cinema. And 100 more times in DVD. I could not stop thinking about The revenge of the fallen. It will bring double the excitement compare to the first one.

Three tumbs up for The revenge of the Fallen. If I say 2 years ago I gave the first transformer 10 over 5 rating (haha), I would give the second movie the same one.

Looking forward for Transformer III which is schedule to be release on 2012.

AL-IMRAN

A lot of Muslim are afraid of reading the translated version of Qoran ( Tafsir). The usual reason are ' we could be lost' or 'only the superior person such as ulama can read that' or ' it is very dangerous, you might ending up being a non-muslim because you lost' or ' let those who take the course or study in madrasah read the translation, we just follow what they say'.

And i say what the heck is going on here? Koran is for all Muslim to read and to take a lesson from it. It is a very valuable thing in our religion. Don't just let it go like that, don't try to avoid it.

As i read in my tafsir, the prologue by the author said that many muslim nowadays read koran just for the beautiful rhythm, and lot said it is calming even without knowing the meaning of it. True, it is beautiful but what a waste reading the sentences without knowing the meaning of it.

I encourage my mother to buy tafsir Koran in Bahasa Malaysia. Translated by Prof.Dr.Hj Mohd Yunus from Indon, it was certified by Malaysian Government and the Malay language is quite Malaysian. And it has a lot of explanation in it. So there is some guide if the thing became confusing.

A few weeks later, I was so impress by that tafsir Koran. I've read a lot of books, fiction, history i what i like the most, and i never read such a wonderful book consisting of lots of teaching and history in it. Yeah i have read koran since i was small but to highlight my point here, i discover Koran beauty since i read the tafsir for the first serious time in my life. I bought a copy for myself. It was small and handy.

A lot of thing i discover just reading the 3 first Surah in it. And obviously i love history so i love the history part of it. The second surah (Al-baqarah), meaning female cow (sapi), told me about the story of Israelite. How they make a golden cow and pray to it, and lot of Prophet sent to them such as moses to guide them to the one god. And the story of Adam in the beginning of this Surah (chapter). I always love that part. How Allah create Adam and ask the angel and jinn to bow to him but devil (iblis) don't want. And how god create Eve while adam was asleep and give Eve to Adam as a surprise and as an accompany to adam. How adam became the most knowledgeable and intelligent compare to the angels and how jealous devils is to adam. I love the story where Adam and Eve was trick by the devil and both of them eat the forbidden fruit and they are thrown away to the earth. It was such a beautiful story.

In the third surah (al-imran), i found more interesting history. The born of Maryam (mary). The story start as early as Imran and Hanah, the father and mother of Mary. They pray to god and promise that if they have a son, they will give it to the god as a god servant in baitul Muqadis in Jurusalem. But then, it turn out that the baby was a girl. Angel came and tell hanah that the baby is a girl and named Maryam, will became the most important women in the whole world. Why is that... After the birth of Mary, Imran and Hanah keep their promise and gave mary as a servant of God and Mary was accepted and later she was keep and taken care by Prophet Zakaria. Prophet Zakaria and her wife take care of mary and the miracle is they did not need to feed mary because the food is always there beside Mary came from nowhere, it came from God. When Prophet Zakaria turn old, he always wish to have a daughter but his wife was old and infertile. However, angel came and told him that mary will bring them a new baby which will became one of the most important man in this world. Who are that boy? it as Isa (jesus).

They story include how Mary said that he never have any contact with man before and how can she became pregnant and God is the most powerful so that he explained that he can create anything. In this surah also told about how Jesus create a living bird from a wooden bird and how he cure the blind.

I stop reading when the part came to the story of Ibrahim (abraham). I guess i h
ad enough for tonight. I could not believed Koran told so much story to us.

Swine Flu prayer.

This is going to be short and brief.

Today, after Solat Jumaat (Jumaat prayer), all the people were asked to perform a prayer to pray that the swine flu will not extent more in our country. Hopefully, God will hear our prayer and protect our family and love one from the virus... amin.

However, why do people pray for swine flu? It is not a swine flu, it is a new virus and it does not really associated with the swine right now. human to human spread. More like human flu. I've read in the paper and some science journal saying that this is a whole new virus. It is not swine flu. I've read article on how scientific community arguing about the name of this new virus. Whether to call it swine flu, new flu, or a(h1n1).

When people start to label it as a swine flu, caused by swine (while pig is actually the mixing vessels for any influenza virus), they try to protect themselves from pig, but forgot that a person beside them has the virus.

The next thing is, Muslim always believed that by prayer, they would not get the virus. Let me make myself clear here. Yes...they will not get it if Allah does not want them to get it. Allah the most powerful.

However, by looking at the islamic community, most of them start to only believed in prayer and not the practical thing to do. I guess no one will go somewhere with the prayer, only if Allah wants it.

So I suggest Muslim nowadays, to pray more, and that is a must but to do more on other things so that we can be the same level as others. I've been to Islamic museum and saw a lot of achievement by Early Muslim Scholar in science. I remember the book i've read a few months ago where a Muslim ruler during Abasiyah gave a Water clock to a Christian leader in Europe as a diplomatic gift and people in Europe was fascinated with the technology that Muslim world have.

Today, they give us internet. And we only pray so that God give us more that internet. We must not

Ghost Story

Anyone ever been to RMEC. What is RMEC? RMEC stand for Rural Medicine Education Centre. It is a new building located just a few minutes away from Sikuati, Kudat. It is a new building own by Universti Malaysia Sabah School of Medicine.

This place is beautiful. I was there when i'm doing my ever tiring community medicine posting. 2 months living there was a very great experience. I miss that place. Even though we don't get a long actually as a group, too much fighting and arguing but no one dare to pull a trigger to start a conflict like what happen in Kuching (being honest). Everyone keep everything to themselves and just wait until the program finish. Eventhough, a lot of gossip there, kutuk2 and ngumpat2 behind. However, i guess we manage to finish that posting as a group, no matter how much conflict we had, in the end everyone try to suppress their feeling to put the job done.

This is not the problem here. The problem is a lot of people asking, whether the ghost story in Kudat is true or not. I'm sure that my junior is doing the community posting there right now. I did not want to talk about this ealier because i like to keep it until i leave that place and give me some time to think about the logic and reason behind the incident.

What happen?

What happen to me..was in the first 2 days of my life there in RMEC. I was sleeping very tiredly and tightly until the around 3 AM in the morning where something strange happen. It was not that strange. It was just a knock at my door. At that time, i was thinking one of my friend was knocking my door asking for something at 3AM IN THE MORNING! I was so lazy so i did not bother to open the door.

Half and hour later, the door knocked again. Hard. I woke up again, and wait for a few minutes and look at my watch. 3.30 AM. Who the hell dare to bother me at 3.30 AM in the morning. After a few minutes, the sound disappear. I continue my sleep.

The morning after, with my stress-on-someone-knocking-my-door-last-night face, i asked all my housemate. "Who knock my door last night?"

Everyone simply answer, don't know. At first i was thinking that they are pulling some jokes on me. However, from their facial expression and also their consistent answer, i started to have a goosebump. If no one knocked the door, and who the hell knock it?

I remember i was so silent that morning until i arrive at Kudat Health office. I was thinking about the logic of the story. It seems that i am the one who are lying here.

In the end, we make that as a jokes to frighten the girls. haha. You know if you are scared of something, you tend to make it as a jokes to make it go away.

That is the part of my story. There is other part from my other housemate. The truth behind their story i did not dare to confirm because they experienced it and not me. What i experienced is totally true. But what others had. i don't know.

Okay, let me just tell it. One of my housemate, at the same time, 3 AM, two days after i had my incident, was hearing a voices of people shouting and talking from the living room while no one is there actually. I did not heard that. Others also. Only that one person did.

Other story is about an object standing beside his bed at the middle of the night. Dream or true, i don't know.

Other story from security guard of that area said that he saw a man walking through the gate and disappear.

I'm not sure about the authentic of all of this story.

There is a story from the people who lived near that building. They said that the building site was actually quite known for the haunted story. That place was a deep jungle but then UMS came and demolished all the tree and built a big building. Some of the villagers said that there is incidence of the builder of the building met a 'pontianak' and also 'babalan' (flying head) around that place.

Sometimes people tend to make a story from story. Maybe someone only saw one thing strange, but the story came up with thousand or ghost army in that place. I guess not all of them are true. I'm a skeptic of paranormal activity. I do believe it but i tend to give more scientific and logical explanation rather than going to the unexplained explanation. I did encounter with ghost twice in my life but not the one like in 'The ring" or Ju-On but something like i experienced in RMEC.

Maybe there is person who knock my door that night. But i am sure that i am not dreaming because i woke up and i feel that anger feeling because someone is bothering me ( i thought my friends are bothering me).

Maybe ghost did exist. We don't know. In my religion (Islam), we are taught to believed on those Jinn and Syaitan. But i'm sure that both of them did not go around and eat and kill people. Human kill. Not them.

If jinn was causing this disturbances in RMEC, it could be quite logic. haha. Why?

RMEC is a big site consisting of 2 block of staff aparment. 3 double storey houses for the lecturer, 2 block of lecture room and class room (around 5-6 classroom), 5 terrace house for the student (one house got 10 bedrooms), a big volleyball court, futsal field, and a big hall. One block of storage room also i think.

But how many people live in that big place? Only 2-3 house on the two block apartment were occupied. The lecturer houses only occupied when the lecturer come there to give lecture. All the classroom is not used currently. Among the five houses for student, only 2 were used, and for one houses with 10 bedrooms, only 3-4 bedrooms were used. How many unoccupied places there.

Eventhough not ghost live in those unoccupied places, i guess, rats, cats, tiger, snakes, and anything can be there and haunt you everynight of your life in RMEC.

Sexual desire

Picture from www.eglobe1.com

At first i wanted to post something else but something trigger me to write something about sexual desire. Why?

Recently i had a friend who said to me that a guy can married a second wife with the reason that he cannot resist his sexual desire and to prevent more bad things from happening. It was a concrete reason and a reason it is for man to get a second wife.

However, in my perspective, i am not knowledgeable as others do but i would consider this reason to be unfair and too offensive to a women. By saying this to a Muslim women, 70% of them would agree on allowing their husband to have a second wife.

I don't like a male to say something like this. This is because they are only reasoning in concern for themselves. What about women? How about them regarding their sexual desire? What if they cannot resist and they want to have sex with other guy.

Everyone would say, no..no..cannot. You are a women, you can only married one guy at a time. I''m a man, i can married 4. You cannot...

Do you see the sexist part of this matter.

To marry a second wife you need to be fair. You need to be the wise and fair man before you can get a second wife. So in my opinion, a good reason always there if you really want to, but above reason should not be use until a guy is stuck with no other good reason and then you can say that. And once you've said it, you would broke someone heart. And you would not be fair to someone. Not fair, no marry.

A guy can marry with this reason but for once think about your wife, your love one. If you really have to marry another, they would always another good reason for it.

I'm not saying those reason is wrong, just unfair. To women.

I'm worse in shopping....

I'm a 23 years old guy, with an ego, and i'm a total male. XY. haha. This is quite a stressing introduction.

I love shopping when i have money, of course. So above is a wallet i bought just now in Satok Sunday Market. I liked the design, it has a zip around it. this will make sure i won't drop card or money from it. Good function. Never mind the brand, Levis, whatever, i'm not a biggest fan of Levis, even i don't wear levis jeans. I wear Louis, or GA blue. Jeans is jeans. Somehow i bought Levis wallet because it was cheap. Only RM25. I'm so happy since my Timberland wallet already torn here and there.

I bought a lot of stuff from Batik Sarawak, to Kain Pua and Ikan terubok. I don't spend much money usually. But this time i do because it is my last day in Kuching.

A lot of argument between me and me myself when i was in my shopping mode. It's nothing actually. But i do realize now that i have some shopping skills that is unique. How do i shopping?

Firstly, when i went shopping, i don't like to search for stuff. I just walk around like i wasn't going to buy anything but actually i do. Haha.

Secondly, i did not look so much on thing i buy. Does not mean i buy it just like that without looking at it first or analyze it first, but i do have this kind of speed decision making when i look at thing. Once i look at it, 5 seconds later i would take out my wallet and pay for it. But if i don't like it, 5 seconds later i would go away unannounced.

Thirdly, i hate bargaining without a goal of getting it. If i try to bargain and this tauke look like so persistent on not reducing the price, i don't bother asking for the second time. Even the thing cannot be found anywhere else, i would not ask for second time and i would not buy if i'm not satisfy with the price. I'm so like a dictator. Haha. I make the rules not you the bussiness woman or man or whatever gender you are. I'm your customer, i'm god for you. hahaha. This is a way of negotiating without negotiating. It is fun. Much like Israel and Palestine are doing right now. Haha.

Lastly, i hate waiting. I can be patience for 10 minutes but more than that i would not. I even hate waiting for myself. I always want to go and get or touch and go or attack and goal. I don't know why i can be so impatient in waiting while i'm doing shoppping. I always say okay buy it or 'no, don't but', without waiting for any solution to come later.

With this four things with me, i would consider myself a bad shopping lover. I would learn more but i could not. It's in my gene. I could not simply decode it. Hahaha.

Anyway, i have fun today because i bought things that is necessary to prove that i was in Kuching between 19th may till 20th june 2009. Haha. Chucky was here.

Chucky.. are you ignorance? or just hate busy people.

I hate lot of people in my family. Not my mother, not my father, not my sister. But i hate lots other them.

I hate busy body people. I would became so honest right now since when i hate this thing.

Okay. the first thing is, people kind a think everything i wrote in this blog is for them. no. It is not for you, sorry, it's for other people to read. But i was so kind to let all people read it. No bias eh..huh. What happen? I closed my blog in 2002. Completely delete it even my blogger friends ask me not to. Why i did it? Because of busy body people. I remember i wrote something story about a girl sister which i lost in my dream. And i didn't have a sister eh. Because what i wrote is an art. I don't take writing as simple as people would do. What i wrote is full of question mark. You might guess, am i the one directed for this blog? Or you would ask, so chucky have delusional about young sisters.

I closed the blog because of the people like this. More specifically my family, my aunt, my cousin start talking about my personal thing in my blog when they didn't even know and understand why i wrote that thing. When the story about me being delusional and touching about my relationship with my ex girlfriend that time, i start to piss off and hate them so much. I closed my blog just like that. Still thinking until today how precious is that blog. I would keep it if i'm not full of hatred and not being rational that day.

And the other thing happen when i was in boarding school. I'm so obsessed about writing and i start writing about people i hate, people i like. The problem is the person i hate. They start to piss off when they secretly read my rhyme book ( i call it rhyme book, cool eh). It's like a diary, and no one would have the right to read that. I hate busy body people like this.

Even until today, lots of people are busy bodying me. Trying to search for my mistake, weak point and the most important thing TRYING TO BOTHERING ME REGARDING MY PERSONAL LIFE. How many times my mother said to me saying that someone see me there, see me here, like i was monitored 24 hours.

When i reach this 23 years old of age, it was a little easy for me to fight this kind of people. When my mother said about people complaining or reporting about me, i would say "Mom, i'm 23, what i do and with who i'm with is my own problem. Even mom can't stop me from getting a gf, married, and make a choice, and what is the right for others to do that to me?"

But still, lot of people with big head so like to talk about me, talk about the bad thing about me. Sometimes my relationship get a vibration because of some kind of people like to do this thing.

Sometimes my best friend also do that. yeah, nadrin, haha.. how dare you talking bad thing about me. haha..but i guess this is fair for us because i need you man, you are the one. But can you see here, my best friend, how much he talk he would always knew which part that can be said or not. Because he understand. But for those who did not, don't.

I would like to say to those people out there, don't ever think this blog is written as an attack. Because when i do want to attack, i would write name here. huhuhuhuhuhuh....huhuhuhuu..

Chucky.

The way I am.

Chucky Charlie Dark Chocolate...

Why my blog given this kind of childish name? For fun?

Everything happen because of something. But lots of people did not want to learn that something. A lot of people will always remain the way they are. Someone is cold, and someone is warm. Which one am i?

Do you ever think that a person writing this blog is a warm and friendly person? Since when i became so friendly? I never are a friendly person. The most hated thing of mine is ice breaking. I hate searching for friends. For me, searching for friend will led you to your enemy. It is same as in war. Trying to find more allies will end you up in a kind situation where you will eaten alive by your allies.

I did not give up my friend. A lot of them are kind person... only a little bit of not understand. Something, thing are simpler as a b c but then when things became complicated, it would never be as simpler as it was before.

Do people always think that i am a give in type of person? Since when i became that kind of person? haha. I'm trying hard to neglect that, but when people think that i am that kind of person, i was so happpppyy so much...ahahaha. Because since i was born, i am the youngest in the family and i will never give up doing something, and i never give in. What's wrong for me is always wrong for me.

Am i forgiving? Since when i became a forgiver? I will feel a lot better if i forgive but i won't. I grew up as an unforgiven. I never forgive people. My quote "I don't have the right to forgive human".

I don't have hatred. I'm lying here. Haha. I'm full of hatred for every smile and **** i give to everyone. I still remember my friend when i was in secondary school said to me " I don't believe that you are so full of hatred and revenge, i thought you are just ok ok type of guy". This stung me. But it's the way i am.

I'm so kind, never get angry. Haha. I hope to be that. I am so rebellious until i can fight with my own mother over something. When i say no, it will be no. I'm so good at controlling my anger. But do people ever see me became so angry? I won't tell but when i do, what's inside me is only a demon. I called that demon ascap46.

What i can tell is, i'm so full of hatred, revenge, anger, unforgiven, negative, negativity inside me is so negative.

But somehow, i'm trying to be better person. Day by day, i will always try to control myself, to give in, to forgive, to be better from before. because i know that someday that i need to love someone, to love my family, to give in to someone, to let my anger flow without hurting person i love, my family, my friend who support me.

A lot of philosophy has been pushed inside me, from my parent, from rhyme, from book, and everything. I digest everything and i would became someone with my own philosophy. I will make my own.

"Are you becoming softer nowadays?"

NO! I will never let people decide something for me. I decide myself. Go fuck yourself if you can't control me.

I've been one tough act to follow.

Eminem Relapse RM29.90

This is my Eminem Relapse album. Finally bought it today for RM29.90. I was so excited about it. I oledi have the leak version from the internet but it's not the same buying the original one. And it is quite cheap compare to previous album that cost me RM47++ each. Now only RM29.90.

It's Malaysian version and why it is so cheap is because it look like pirate version one. Only a piece of paper with i think 3 pictures of Eminem including the cover. hahha. So disappointed. It's really look like a cheap CD.

But that is just the cover, the CD is in original standard quality and guess what.. it's uncensored. The first time i scan the song inside i was a little surprise listening to the F word in this album. So i guess i am wrong in the previous post. Now i do not need to support pirate album...hahaha. seriously. No piracy please. hahaha.. change my mind already. (Already changed my mind).

So... full track uncesnsored. Worth to buy. Huhu.

p/s: i told my girlfriend regarding the explicit content of this album, she said " maybe the official who are responsible to censored that album was asleep when the album arrive in Malaysia". hahhaha.
She always have some sort of cute answers. hahhaa.

I NEED PIRACY. PLEASE DON'T STOP PIRACY..WHY?

Why say so?

The reason is i love Eminem. I've been buying his CD since his first The Slim Shady LP until now Relapse which i plan to buy tomorrow.

So?

Only the first album of Eminem that i could listen to all his lyric. Let's say its an hour long album, and i listen his lyric through out that one hour..

then?

Then after that, when it came to his best album The Marshall Mathers LP, i can say that i only can listen to 70% of his lyrics.

Why?

Because they censored everything. Ok. Let say it like this. If you censored an artist who say fuck and shit once or twice in his album, you probably feel nothing about it. But what about Eminem? His first track Public service announcement in The Marshall Mathers LP supposed to be 25 seconds track but in censored version, you only here 1 seconds of silence..... Plus one song is absent in the censored version..

How much do i pay for censored CD?

No discount were given even for the censored one. The price with the original one still the same.

Conclusion?

That is why i download pirate version of the album from the internet. Almost all Eminem' s album, i bought the CD sooner or later and i download them in the internet so i can listen to what actually they are producing. So piracy is essential to me. If they want to stop piracy, then sell the Uncensored version of every album in Malaysia so that Malaysian can buy what they want instead of what you make for us.

To buy CD from outside Malaysia, the transportation is so expensive. I guess that is why lots of Malaysian buy the pirate one. Why spend rm20-30 more for the uncensored album if you can get it for rm10 in the street.

Hhahaha..this is merely a joke, but seriously i do download pirate stuff because i want to listen to the uncensored one. I don't expect you censored Eminem's lyric which 50% contain those explicit word. haha.

Google? Bing? Wolfram

I'm so tired today clicking around and try to feel the three most popular thing in the net now which is google (obviously), bing, and wolfram.

I like to try something new (except google) so then i would have my own opinion on this matter. And my friend sylves also keep busy comparing google and bing. Some of his opinion would be included when i wrote this entry.

So first of all, let us talk about google. No introduction is needed for this mega search engine. 64.5% internet user are using this search engine and i can say, i never find a better search engine other than google. So simple, fast loading, relevance search result, and so user-friendly. Compare to Yahoo and MSN live which prompt a lot of link around the search box, google only consist of that always changing Google logo and a search box with some simple link as a garnish. Job well done. Ever since i discover google, i never went to visit any other search engine anymore if it is not necessary.

So bing. The new search engine from Microsoft after Live search. simple address is the first impression i had... bing.com, easy enough to type and to remember. What so special about this new search engine is...it is light, like google, and it has that beautiful background picture that change depending on where you are living. For example in malaysia you would see those beautiful 'sipadan' like views. when you are in other country, the picture change. If you are in Arab, there is a mode where the typing will go right to left. The search result also show more on the local site result rather than international one. this could be useful but i don't like it. It make the relevanve of my search decrease (but not all the time). still, the search result was fantastic. Enough for us to find what we want. Secual content wise, bing is the best. It filtered the adult content and you won't be able to use the term like sex, porn, seks, bogel and everything to search. However, this is limited to certain country because if you live in Malaysia, they will restrict that but if you choose other country such as USA, you can search for it. Even though, the adult content filter is much more amazing than google I guess this is more futuristic than google.
Bad thing about bing is the speed for search still cannot beat google. google is too fast. I don't know how google do it. haha.

As for Wolframalpha at wolframalpha.com... this is not a search engine, it is like a answer engine. You type question and if you are asking it right, you would definitely get the best answer. This is too interesting. I was obsessed asking a lot of question at wolframalpha. I guess, this is the real future. Though its a little bit slow. Okay. For example, i type Eminem in Wolframalpha, the result came out and show me Eminem's real name, date of birth something like that. Wow. And when i type my birthdate, it would show everything that i even did not want to know. it calculate everything from the day i was born until today. You would found Wolframalpha is not that useful today but i can see the future of this method of searching. Where you would only get the best answer. I type where are you? Who am I? What are you? and different interesting answers came out. This is very interesting. Everyone should try this new concept of search engine or asnwer engine. Not enough? Then try search x+2y=24..its impressing.

So, this is my opinion. For official review you can search at wherever you want. This is public personal opinion. I just want to share it with everyone. hahha.

Judgement

Everyone want their right. Everyone want to judge others. They put themselves in a kind of role where they judge others by themselves.

I hate those. Things happen, and we are not supposed to judge anything. Except we are put in the position as a judge. If not, don't ever step to that line of judging others.

I remember i also like to judge others, saying that they deserves what they get, they need to correct things, this is their fault, but there is time when i'm just studded there, pausing, guessing, that this is wrong. This is wrong. I am not the one to judge. All i can do is to express but not to judge. I put myself behind the line so i can express my disagreement regarding certain thing, but i never, never want to judge others.

When someone do something wrong not to you, or even to you, what you can do is to express, but to make a judgement, is far beyond our power. The ultimate judgment is from Allah (God). We are not that fair, we always have bias in our judgment.

We always considering our friends to make judgment, our family, ourselves, we always bias. No one make a judgment purely for the sake of others. No one will admit.

People say you're bad, you've done the wrong thing, but who are we to say that? Who are we to say that they deserve what they get?

Personally, when someone is doing something 'wrong' or not in line with your area of control, the first thing to do is to put yourself in an empathy mode. Being in someone's shoes. Feel what they feel. And guess what we are going to do when we are in their shoes. definitely we are not going to do what we are initially want to do after that. We will not make judgment after that.

It was a horrible news i received, and many others would say it was a good news because they already bound with that judgment attitude they had. However i think, for 5 seconds, then i feel like ...disappointed.

I was crazy about people making their judgment few months ago and no one will ever know how mad and angry i am because of this. Until i wrote a 4 pages articles on this but i never publish it because i never finish the 5th page. But somehow, one day i will complete that article.

The point is, even we did not feel sorry to someone else, we must not...we must not..we must not... ever feel happy for someone else grief, to someone else disappointment, for someone else problem...

Good luck...is the last word of the conversation, and i feel my heart would drop.. how can i say good luck back? It's like mock. What am i going to say?

But i never feel happy for that. It always haunting my mine. Always.

(TTB... IHTYWSIYS.DWWAASAT) <--- its a code... i may forgot it myself after 5 minutes. but for the 10 seconds i type that, i was truely honest to myself.

Inspire

Too much lyric, too much writings, too much books, too much philosopher inspired me. Burden....

I'm a criminal,
cause everytime i wrote i rhyme
those people think it's a crime
to tell what is on my mine.
I guess i'm a criminal,
but i don't got to say a word,
i just flip em the bird,
and keep going
i don' t take shit from no one...

(M.M.LP 2000)

Bing Vs google

First impression, bing was nice. Beautiful and simple.

I haven't explore bing but i am sure this one can give a big match to google. Maybe after this people would say Bing it rather than google it.. haha.

English Language to Be compulsory (Malaysia is too soft)

One reason why English should not be made compulsory in SPM is because if they do so, they will be so many students failing their SPM.

Is this reasonable. I would say this reason is not fair for those who really study english and doing their best to get A and pass their English subject. And those who failed, is not because the have some disability but more to they don't want to learn it.

I am a student and I've been in secondary school and primary school before. When science was included for the first time in my UPSR, i hate the ministry of education so much because i have to learn so much rather than only the four basic subject. Day by day, examination became harder and harder, lot of new format, new syllabus was put in to the subject. I feel this before. And i'm sure that i don't like it, i hate it.

But that was a good thing i guess. When you put something harder, people would struggle and eventually everyone will get what they deserve in their exams.

I was uncomfortable of the saying that because they don't want students to fail, they ask not to include english in SPM. Where is the logic behind this? Sure all the student would be happy because English is not compulsory to study. In fact, if i am a student, I won't bother to study english anymore if they say it like this... i will study more on the compulsory subject to pass, and what is that? Bahasa Malaysia?

common...

p/s: this is my opinion.....only.

Sister in Islam

Recently a lot of people start talking about this issues regarding Sister in Islam. I'm an ignorance citizen of Malaysia so i did not know actually what actually the problem here. But wait, didn't i saw that Sister in Islam in TV fighting for women's right regarding polygamy or something like that.

Now i understand the issues, what they are fighting for is actually make sense. But honestly, if you read Koran, you did not need to make your own rules or correct the error because all error comes from us human not God.

Thing actually can be simpler than everyone taught. If women don't want their husband to marry more than one, well don't let them be. Sister in Islam is just like a kid trying to ask for what is right for them. Kids can be very honest.

The problem lies within the member of that organization as they did not show the way they practice Islam from any aspects. This is very dangerous because people can attack you when you put yourselves in a vulnerable state.

As people said " don't throw rock to someone if you live in a house of glass".

This issues is not healthy as people would see Islam in a more negative perspective because of this. For those who understand Islam it would be a matter of considering but for those who did not, they would eventually see Islam as the worse religion ever in this world.

So both party involved in this problem should have a very good discussion and admitting own mistakes would always be the best solution in managing problem.

Koran mention that Allah hate those who talk about something in religion and forgot about other thing. Islam is a thorough religion, understanding islam is hard but once you live in Islam, it would not cause much problem as you would think of.

p/s: i did not support poligami also even though i'm a male muslim. why? because i've seen a lot of crap happen in family because of this. But i didn't say Islam is wrong regarding this because even in Islam it was clearly said only if you can be fair you can marry more than one. isn't Islam beautiful... It's like a tree with many branch and not like a rock..

Man and Women are both Equal

From Islamic point of view regarding Adam and Eve. Qoran 7:20 :-

"Then began Satan to whisper suggestions to them, bringing openly before their minds all their shame that was hidden from them (before): he said: 'Your Lord only forbade you this tree, lest ye should become angels or such beings as live for ever.' And he swore to them both, that he was their sincere adviser. So by deceit he brought about their fall: when they tasted of the tree, their shame became manifest to them, and they began to sew together the leaves of the garden over their bodies. And their Lord called unto them: Did I not forbid you that tree, and tell you that Satan was an avowed enemy unto you?"

Different from any other text regarding Adam and Eve, in Islam they were both tempted and not only Eve were tempted showing that in man and women are equal. This put off the thought saying that women can be more vulnerable to be in incited. And the fault of them being thrown out from Kingdom of Heaven is not merely Eve's fault.

Medical Entry ( Power of Observation)

Medical student learn clinical skills. . Day by day we are taught to expand our knowledge and sharpen our skills. From the beginning we were taugh to use our hand, our sense to make diagnosis. Day by day we were asked to practice our clinical skills to improve our knowledge when we graduate later.

I make this entry obviously not from my opinion or thinking. This is merely what i remember a few years ago, a consultant in Hospital Queen Elizabeth told me. At that time i was doing my medical posting and my memory regarding that physician name is so cloudy right now. I don't remember him maybe because i've been in a lot of posting since last year.

So what did he say to me? He says something like this:

"Medical student today lack of power in observation. Lots of them only inspect for a few seconds to a minute then jump to palpation, percussion and auscultation. It's wrong. By taking history, you would make 80% of the diagnosis. 20 % is from your physical examination. From that 20%, 10 % is inspection and the rest is for palpation, percussion and auscultation.."

" Do not jump to palpation, give time to observe. By observing the patient, you would know the diagnosis much more compare than touching the patient without watching him/her appropriately. You can observe for 3-4 minutes, it's okay."

"When you are following the round or doing your ward work, what do you seek? You are not seeking to jump to touch every patient or to poke every patient with a needle practicing in drawing blood. When you are in the ward or following the round, what you do is observe. If you are following me for the round, i may not teach you all the time because i was busy but use your senses and observe the patient. By that you would learn more."

"When you look at the patient even if you are not touching them, years later when you see the same characteristic of patient it would assist you in your diagnosis. Don't underestimate the power of observation."

" So i want all the student to practice your power of observation. In does not only limited to visual but also smell and your hearing. If you look, listen and sometimes smell it, you would diagnose the patient even without doing a proper examination."

"Do you see sometimes doctor make diagnosis as early as patient walk into the clinic. That is the power of observation."

I remember this word even if it does not really accurate but it is something like that. I remember it because i like that philosophy. That idea that we need to observe more.

Why i write this thing? haha. It is because my supervisor here in Kuching elective posting is a little quiet type but he is nice. So when we follow his round, much of what we do is observing. Observe observe until we get tired. Then we would jump to auscultation or talk with the patient. Haha.

But seriously the idea of observation is not to be taken as a joke. It is true. I've experience it in my examination. Most of the time i missed a lot of things in inspection? Why? Because in my mind, i want to palpate the lump, the swelling or the pulse quickly.

More details read Hutchingson's Clinical Method. This book is quite not interesting because a lot of words but if you read it, you would find why that other books refer to this book (McCloed and Telley also refer to Hutchingson). This book describe everything in more mind opening way. Love it.

p/s: In this book i've read that when you are examining patient touch sensation, you do not need to ask patient to shut their eyes. This is because it will affect the result as a person's attention will decrease when he shut both eyes. ask the patient to look away. Lots of my lecturer did not accept this method, but i've seen neurologist do this. They did not ask patient to closed their eyes.

enuff...enough said.

Religous Entry (Women right in Islam)

In a truely Islamic society women have the following rights in Islam:

1. The right and duty to obtain education.

2. The right to have their own independent property.

3. The right to work to earn money if they need it or want it.

4. Equality of reward for equal deeds.

5. The right to express their opinion and be heard.

6. The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs and more.

7. The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice.

8. The right to obtain divorce from her husband, even on the grounds that she simply can't stand him. (pls note that God deeply frowns upon divorce as a solution unless there is hardly any other alternative but it does not mean that men have more right to divorce their wives than women do.)

9. The right to keep all her own money (she is not responsible to maintain any relations).

10. The right to get sexual satisfaction from her husband.

11. custody of their children after divorce.

12. to refuse any marriage that does not please them

Religious Entry ( Women in Islam)

4:34 . . . If you fear highhandedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great.

Okay, this is the most repeated sentences from all the Muslim haters out there. It's not like they are reading the whole Quran, but merely picked sentences that others who are prejudice about Islam and act like they know.

It is very funny to read, listen and watch to this kind of people. I have read the theory on Islamophobia and it is actually true while many still argue that this theory is only a propaganda.

Before going to far, regarding the sentences in Koran above, maybe non-muslim would interpret it carelessly but i still remember how this sentences was an hour class during my primary school. Primary school? I still remember my teacher quoting a hadith from Prophet Muhammad as he recite this sentences to his followers. My deepest apology because i forgot that hadith. I am human. What i remember is regarding the law of hitting women in islam. No one talks about that..

In islam, there is way to hit a woman. never hit the face, the buttock, the chest, nor leg or feet, and cannot hit until they have bruise or even redness. And the most suitable instrument to hit them is using long grass or something like that. I remember we are all laughing that time. Is it a joke? we asked. And he said no. Then its like we can't even touch them. Why you want to hit women if you are stating a strict law until you are actually not hitting but more like joking with them. It would be funny if someone hit you with a grass.

And my teacher said: " Actually, its only a symbol showing that you as a man is strict to your wife when they make mistake, however, in Islam, hitting is not the first priority. And for the best, you don't need to hit any women.

If we look at the sentences, do you see that hitting is the last resort. As most people think Quran is a only a book full with sentences, but no one ever appreciate that everything in it was in order. From the process of embryology, big bang theory, blood circulation, everything was in order and not just a plain mixed sentences.

Also lot of people just reading this sentences and act they know. It;s like Quran for them is just one sentences like this and the other thing in that is just a blank paper.

Please, read Quran, with its meaning. the whole of it. You will know much better.

p/s: lot of Muslim read Quran only for the sake of its beauty melody. Trust me, most Muslim did not know the meaning of Quran.

I bought myself ine good Tafsir Quran for myself, and actually my mother bought it first, then i bought the same tafsir like her do and read it. The problem is when i was here in Kuching doing my practical, i did not brought that. Haha. So, no progress...

Food Entry 3 (Ayam Penyet Akmar)

This is Pecey Lelle. An Indonesia cuisine which is more commonly known as ayam penyet.

During my stay in Kuching Sarawak, this ayam penyet was so famaous until eveyone recommend tourist to eat it even it is not a trademark of Sarawak Cuisine. My friend laugh at me because i'm eating this indonesian food in Sarawak. By the way he is studying in Indonesia so make sense. The best place to eat this Ayam Penyet is in Indonesia not in Kuching obviously.

But because it is so famaous in Kuching, why don't we give it a try. This entry can be useful for someone who want to search for the best Ayam Penyet in Kuching.

Even though i stay only for a few weeks here in Kuching, it is enough for me to try different places that serve this Ayam Penyet.

Okay okay. What basically is Ayam penyet. It is consist of a fried chicken, with plain stream rice and lot of traditional malay salad or what do you call Ulam, and importantly sambal (chillie). What make it different is the Sambal. Different places serve different type of Sambal.

Here in kuching, i have try 3 places of Ayam penyet. And in term of chicken i would list it like this:

1. Satay Ceko Restaurant - The chicken is so tender and crunchy until you can eat the bone.
2. Raja Ayam Penyet Restaurant - The chicken is delicious but small. So dissapointing.
3. Akmar restaurant ( The chicken is not that good, just a regular chicken with spices. Not that crispy)

But in term of sambal, the list goes like this:

1. Akmar restaurant - The sambal is nice. Hot, but not too hot. It's more like sambal belacan.
2. Satay ceko- The sambal is quite nice, sweet and not too hot. My favourite.
3. Raja Ayam Penyet - Is this a sambal? Its a hundred percent pure chili. Too hot.

So, that's what i think. Kuching people might know much more place to eat this stuff. I just manage to find this three places as i don't have car to go around kuching. So... that's all. hahha.

Personal Entry (Digital Picture)

Do you remember the time when A plate of Fried Noodle cost Rm2.50? Do you still remember the time when satay cost rm0.25 per stick? Do you still remember the time when every soft drink cost Rm1 per can? Do you still remember the time when you carry around a 1.4 inch floppy disk to save all of your date inside? Do you still the time when a rm100 pendrive can only save 128mb of data? Do you still remember the time when your internet speed is 28.8kbps?

The story that i want to tell here is about... do you remember buying those camera film negative or what do you call that thing you put inside a camera so you can took 12 or 24 or 32 shots of picture? I called that film. It's a celluloid roll or something.

Remember that time, you bought one roll and you will have chances to take a limited number of picture. My family is not a rich family. So i remember few years ago, we usually bought that film that can take only 12 pictures. So we will spend the 12 shots wisely. Took only the best scene or the best time. Don't wast film. No candid picture. When i was in matriculation college, i used to spend my time with my friends touring around beautiful Labuan island. Then we would share to buy a film then we would go around labuan taking picture.

Do you remember that all of those picture cannot be seen before they print it in the shop using that old technique of using dark room. So, after you took picture, you would keep the negative film and then sent it to the photo shop. A few days later the picture came out and you would laugh looking at it.

Now situation change. Really change. With digital camera, you can take at least 200-500 pictures for a single memory card. How many time do you run out of memory in your memory card compare to you're running out of your camera's battery? This means, you can take infinite picture until at least your battery flat or memory card full which is rare.

200 to 500 pictures compare to max 36 pictures using that celluloid rolls. Science is amazing. Furthermore, today you did not need to sent the memory card or whatever to the photo shop, all you need is a laptop. Even more, you can immediately look at your shots using your digital camera. You took a picture, then immediately press play and you can see how your shots look like.

It's fun and much more convenient compare to the old times. But still, there are certain problem that people did not think of regarding this technology.

First of all, do you realize that from 500 picture you took, 400 is a picture without meaning? and from 400, 300 is a repeated shots or same picture all over. Now we did not think like the previous time where we only took precious moment to shot a picture. Now we only click on everything and the result is 400 picture does not have any significant value.

This thing can be solve by selecting the most precious picture and you would isolate the best only picture in your computer.

Then, the next problem is about the space you want to put the picture. Previously, 36 pictures, you put into an album, then you would open it back 10 years later and you would feel 10 years younger. You would remember all your precious time 10 years earlier. Now, you have 500 pictures, you won't be able to put it in an album. You would need 50 album and also plenty of money to do that.

Then you will solve the problem by burning it into a CD. How many time did you lost a CD compare to losing a photo album? How many time you got those situation where your CD is unreadable. Further more, did you all aware that people are stopping manufacturing CD and DVD. Now they are going into the blue ray era. Are you aware, a few years from now, all your CD and DVD would not be readable anymore. It is just like Video cassette. Are you able to read it easily today. No device right.

Fair enough, you save it in your external hard disk. The question is, is it permanent? Or is it hard for a virus to get into it and destroy everything. Did hard disk really can work for more than 20 years? Hard disk is so fragile. Anytime you would lost your data by trusting it.

So some people upload the picture to the internet and by far this is the most optimum method to save your picture for a very long time. However, it is still not that permanent. Same as yahoo notebook or whatever program to save date in the net, everything can be change. What if suddenly they go bankrupt and your date cannot be retrieved. I think all the web provider would not say that they are responsible for data lost. No. so this method still have a fatal blow.

Sometime we should not take risk of developing technology. If you have your wedding day capture in a DVD, do you rely 100% that 20 years later this DVD will still be as it it and readable? Take a risk or not.

So photo album still the best method to put your precious moment eternally.

Never underestimate technology. I believed that lots of genius out there are thinking the same thing as i do. trying to find the best method to save your precious data so that for the next 100 or 200 years, the data will still as it is. No defect until you can view it for generations.

As a conclusion, i would say that you should save only the significant picture, select from 500 picture you took, the smaller the number, the easier you would transfer it from different method of file saving. I guess it is much harder for you to tranfer 10gb of picture date comapare to 1gb. So, i am still wondering, whether all the beautiful picture of my youth, my birthday, my friends, my elective posting, and everything will be there when i was 40 years old. Or everything will only be in my mind. My memory. The memory of old time.

p/s: i have burn lots of DVD of my picture. Where is it? I don't know. Now i realize that i have to find it somewhere.

Politic Entry (Obama Speak to Muslim World)

55 minutes of live speech in Cairo, Egypt, in my opinion without considering which religion i am, i can this person really know how to speak. He i a good speaker. I think that is why he reach what he is now today.

When i speak like this, I suppose a lot of people out there would say that i am not a real muslim because i praise a non-muslim leader. But this is only for mind who is so closed into one aspect of this beautiful world Allah created.

Okay, well, i don't want to be serious all the time talking about details of the speech Obama made. It is just interesting to listen to. He is honest talking about his early life in Indonesia, he also honest saying that his father generation is a Muslim. he live in different Muslim country before settling in America, something like that. I think he is much better than the previous president of America.

The point that he is highlighting also neutral in nature. For example, he would say Palestinian should stop attacking Israel, in the same time he talk about palestinian who suffer for 60 years and he said that Israel is violating the agreement of not expanding their territories. So it goes both way.

What i want to say here, i guess if all people are in the middle, trying to make a better peace world, this world will not be like this. But i don't think so this will happen. Why?

Maybe Muslim agree want to have a peace, but non-muslim would take advantage on attacking them. And when non-muslim want the peace, Muslim would say, we are the true religion, let's take over this world. Something like that. So the war will not end.

I guess the solution is not to think who is right and who is wrong here in this world. You don't need to say those people will burn up in hell and vice versa, what you need is to let them be them and try to make better thing for everyone.

In Koran also said.

1 Say: O disbelievers,

2 I serve not what you serve,

3 Nor do you serve Him Whom I serve,

4 Nor shall I serve that which ye serve,

5 Nor do you serve Him Whom I serve.

6 For you is your recompense and for me my recompense.

From what i understand, it's like letting them be them. So, you did not need to push a war to others.

I'm a little ashamed when Obama quoting Koran sentences showing how Islam called for peace but Muslim keep saying that the war is JIhad we should support it.

I guess if you read the history of Prophet Muhammad, you will never see his war like the war today. All he did is a war of defense. And he did not and will not attack if the enemy did not put a step first. As you read in History, Prophet Muhammad frequently send a person to negotiate with other empire's ruler asking them to convert to islam or if they did not want, they at least should support or have diplomatic relationship with Islam.

He did not send person to kill, or ask army to go an attack a place.

Some of the person he send was killed, and then he will move the army but never attack blindly. Always negotiate and negotiate. Never attack when person is in sleep. never attack women, children and innoncent people. Islam is really for peace.

So what Obama said, make sense. Don't say he is a christian and what give him right to talk about Islam. We should say, why there is no Muslim can talk something like that. I believed there is so many of them but the media, as you know, only show stereotype muslim who would hold a gun and a bomb in their hand running and saying "fuck america". Media also play important thing in War.

I guess a big dialog with Muslim, christian and Jew to find a way of solution is one step to end war between religion. We are all actually from the same root.

Christian pray for Jesus, Jew is from Moses, and Islam from Prophet Muhammad. All of this from Abraham. For somebody who did not know history, This three religion is called Abraham religion or (Ibrahim).

And people fighting for Masjidil Aqsa, this place is actually holy for all of Abraham religion so everyone deserve their part. No one has the right to destroy it.

And for Muslim, this place is where Prophet Muhammad pray and meet with Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. The Isra's Mikraj could be sending us some message that we don't want to know until today.

And the history on battling for masjidil aqsa did not started during Prophet Muhammad era. It came after that. Way after Khalifa harun ar-rasyid period.

i don't know the opinion for other muslim. The vision to create a peace in this world is what i agree on. And if you listen to Obama speech, he could be having the same vision. Not necessary a Muslim only had that kind of vision. Everyone have the same vision.

But still i think, one representative from Muslim World should hold a speech like this.

As you know, Muslim World previously have one leader. But after power, hatred, money and self fishness poison our history after the Death of Prophet Muhammad, Muslim world is not united until today.

Shopping Entry (Made in Indon Bang)

Okay. Where is the best place to shop around Sarawak? Or particularly near Kuching. Everyone answered "Sarikin".

Since before i went to Kuching, all of the people who have been in Kuching before always mentioning abou this place where the price is impossibly cheap. Is it true?

So today, it is my first experience landing my feet to Sarikin. First impression "wow". We stuck in a 2 miles traffic jam before reaching this rural place near the Sarawak-Kalimantan Border. Stuck almost an hour. Everyone going to this place i guess. Second impression "wow", no parking. This place is so crowded with people. I love something like this. When i go to somewhere on travelling, i did not like to go to a place where only i am alone going to that place. It is like i'm going to a wrong place. With such crowded place in Sarikin, I know that I am going to the right place.

Third Impression, "damn". Its hot. Too hot. I don't believe when people say this place is hotter than Kuching town, but i do now. it is really hot. Dunno why. maybe it nearer to equator or something like that.

So the shopping part. Is this place sell the most impossible price you ever seen in your life? No. It is just like an ordinary market with big big discount. How can i say it. If in Kuching, a same stuff would cost Rm130, in this place it will cost Rm100. Rm30 cheaper. But that is not impossible right.

Telekung which everyone is saying "very cheap" is not that very cheap at all. It is cheap. I have to admit that. In my hometown, the price is still the same. maybe rm10 cheaper. And kain pelikat or sarong is not cheap. For the same brand in my hometown labuan, this place charge rm15, my hometown you can get it for Rm5. Rm10 if you did not know how to bargain.

What about other stuff? Clothing? yeah, this place offer a very cheap price for that. But all the cloth is not up to my expectation. I would choose a good fabric rather than price. haha.

So in the end, i end up buying 1 cowboys hats which i want to give to my father, 1 hat to my mother and a cap for me.

Nike cap with spectacular design, nice, original nike, only cost rm10. this is cheap. really cheap. that is why i bought it. haha.

I'm trying to buy Tikar Kayu (wooden Mat), it is also very cheap here but, i don't bring enough money. Damn to myself. I also want to buy a Tudung saji, but i dunno how to put that on the flight later.

So my last impression, this is shopping heaven. People who know how to shop really will enjoy this place. But, the temperature is too high here. Cannot stand for long. My skin got burn already.

But i really enjoy this shopping session today. I have to close my eyes all the time because if i don't, RM50 in my wallet will disappear in less than 10 seconds. It did though.

Anyway, one dissapointing thing is i want to buy a new wallet here. Original leather only cost rm15 something like that. Damn cheap right. But i found out that every wallet is an old fashion style. I'm trying to find a new one with zip around the wallet. Look like female wallet but design for man. I saw this is India Street Kuching, RM25. But in sarikin they did not have this kind of wallet. I asked them why they did not sell that one.

They said, " Sorry bang, itu modelnya baru, kami pun mau mencari model itu. kalau di Indon sudah buat itu baru ada kami jual".

Yes, every item sold here is made in Indon, and we are buying in Indon border. That is why this place sell thing so cheap.

Lastly, please go this place. please. You would not be dissapointed.

Religous Entry (You Are Wrong)

So what about religous this time?

Okay, today i met an author. He claimed that he is an author. I dunno. But i recently found that that book exist but he was not the author. He was the idea giver, how do i call that? He gave idea to someone to write a book. It's a religous book. About how corrupted muslim today or something like that. It is about an experience of a muslim who did not follow Islam rule and later realize that he was wrong and he went back to the correct path.

I don't bother describing about the book because i never see it and never read it before. So no need to elaborate on that. I just want to tell his story here in my entry so that people can read and think about it. I'll put it in a funny way so that people don't read this blog with prejudice.

Okay. I'm with two of my friends was sitting outside a mosque. We saw this beautiful BMW sport car park in front of us. Then suddenly the owner of the car came, and because his car is hot inside, so he approach us. As usual, salam, then he asked us.

"Where do the three of you came from?"

Uttering, we answer that we were student from Sabah doing practical here in Kuching.

He asked with energy, " What course? University?"

We answered yes. University, doing medicine. I'm the type who don't want to lie about my course. Sometime people lie about it. No good for me. Why do you have to lie about it? Because you don't want people to say you are proud then you lie. Haha, already commit a sin there.

Then he asked us " When you have a degree, are your future bright?"

He point at me, i was blanked and said yes. Then he pointed to my friends, they say "depends".

"You are wrong!" that uncle pointed his finger to me. " Getting a degree won't guarantee your future is bright. When you are praying to Allah, then you don't need to get a degree". He started to tell us his story when he was young, where he live in a slum, poverty, and he make friends with bad people, drink alcohol, do some chicks and all the bad stuff. He also said that he did not have an education, but because he realized that Allah is the one that can help and he pray, now he is driving BMW sport.

Yes. I have to admit that. He really driving that car. He also tell us the story about how he never pray before but after he start praying, he gain more that he wanted to. All because of the help from Allah.

Then he asked us another question. " DO you think tabligh is right or wrong?"

I answered "urr..maybe right (vague)". Then one of my friend said "wrong". So he point a finger to him and said "you are wrong". Then he continued, " Tabligh is the people who is really a muslim. They study religion, they pray, they believed in Allah, they did not lie, did not proud, they love and afraid to only Allah. They never asked any help from anyone except Allah. Don't ever say bad stuff about them. A lot of people saying tabligh is doing wrong. Actually, they are the righteous one".

Okay. I have to admit that i myself did not like tabligh. I hate them because for them, everything is about praying only. Even we study medicine, they say that we are study about the world only and not about the after life. For me, we as a muslim should work and be competent with others in the world. We should have an effort not just sitting and praying. But i have to admit what he said. It is correct hate that we should not make fun of tabligh. They pray more than us. They know more than us in the aspect of Islam. However, some of them did not really know but act to know. Most of this type is the student, young member who did not ever had an experienced about life.

I have to believed this uncle because he experienced a lot as he told me along the way. He did every sin first and ten realized about it. Not just following others to become a religous person.

"Do you need an effort to achieve something?" another question he asked.

I answered "yes". And as i expected he said "You are wrong".

"Even if you did not have an effort, if Allah bless you, you will get what you want. Look at me. I did not work. My wife did not work, even my children did not work, but look at me now."

yeah.. i can see his BMW car. haha. That is the only thing i see and i make a conclusion, this person is rich. hahaha.

Admit that also. Sometimes even if you put a 110% effort into something but you still did not achieve what you want. But i did not accept this. This is why Muslim was 10 year back in science and technology. I did not believed Allah created science for Japan or for the West only. I did not believed Allah would do something like that. Allah wants every human being including Muslim to have an effort to achieve something. Not just sitting down and suddenly a laptop or a car will fall on to you.

But still, this person got BMW sport car. hmm...

Then he asked," do you believed in fortune or luck?"

I did not really get this question you know. Because in malay it sound like this " kamu percaya pada nasib?".

I guess and answered no. Luckily i am correct. haha. Did i say luckily? But one of my friends could be having the same problem that i had, by not understanding the question and said yes.

So he said "You are wrong!". I want to laugh. hahha.

"As a muslim, you must not believed in luck or fortune. You must not believed. You should only believed that when you pray to Allah you will get what you want."

hahaha. There is a lot of stuff this uncle told us. Most of them we cannot reject. Everything he said we have to admit that he was right.

He also told us everything about all the ulama nowadays, more and being proud and move away from the truth path. Most muslim did not practice Islam anymore. As he said that everyone today are more likely love entertaiment, proud, love money, possesions and everything rather than be a humble muslim. He is correct.

But sometimes, i did not accept his idea regarding effort. I did not believed Allah said that a muslim did not need to have effort, just pray, and you'll get what you want. To concrete my statement, i belived in Quran they is a senteces that tell us that Allah will not change our destiny if we did not change it ourselves. So means we can change our destiny.

As he told us that we should not believed in fortune, i think he mean that we must not believed fortune teller. Because if we did not believed fortune, then we have to put effort and then it was antagonizing with each other.

So, after 40 minutes getting lectured by this person, we manage to stop him and walk away from the mosque to get our lunch.

So i feel really exciting about this. I love to listen to something different about religions. I mean different idea from different people. We should not only stick to one. By listening more on others, we are able to see which is wrong and which is right rather than following the wrong all the time by not knowing that you are doing so.

So in the end, i try to get this uncle name. He said his name was Salim. I search for his book in the internet and i found this link

So he really did have that book authored by someone else. He also promote to us about his another book regarding Jinn. Maybe i wil read his book when i found it. Because after we met him, it is like more personal and interesting to read. In the end we can say, "I met this book author before".

What a great experience. And for the story he told us as i posted in this entry. You all judge by yourself.

See this, he really a writer. Glad to see a writer.

Food Entry 2 (misunderstanding)

And this is Rojak. A rojak that i ate just now at Wisma Sabarkas, top floor Kuching Sarawak. Anything special? No obviously since Rojak can be found anywhere in Malaysia. However, as a Labuanese, and also a bit Sabahan and Sarawakian maybe later, I would like to highlight about the word Rojak as a lot of people actually did not know what rojak is.

Let me tell some story. I have lot of story to tell. Just listen to it. Don't like it and don't listen. No one need to read everything that i wrote here. So the story goes like this. My mother love to eat rojak. Poor her, living in Labuan and sometimes go to Sabah, when she order Rojak in Food stall, she usually got served with Gado-Gado. Gado-gado is a type of noodles with peanuts sauce and it is actually so different from Rojak.

Why this thing happen? This is because, Sabahan did not know how Rojak look like or maybe because of the word evolution, suddenly Gado-gado become rojak. I don't know why is that happening. They must be some story behind it.

When i get back to Labuan a few weeks ago, I accompanied my mother to the town and she bought me breakfast. And my mother asked for Rojak as usual and she was served Gado-gado without noodles. What is happening? Even a Labuanese did not know what rojak is. This is humiliating.

I'm a labuanese, my mother too, why do we know about it? This is because we both enjoyed watching TV. That channel called AFC. From there we can see people eating Rojak in Singapore, Penang, KL and wherever else in peninsular Malaysia.

It is funny you know when people did not what is Rojak. Rojak is a kind of food where you yourself can choose whatever you want including fishcakes, cakes, fruit, and anything you want, everything is mixed together with some sweet sauce made of something (i don't know) and that is why it was called Rojak. Mixed together.

I love to eat rojak like this. If i cannot eat it in sabah, where you cannot find real rojak, i can at least eat it here in neighbouring sarawak. I hope someday, real rojak can be found in Sabah. And when it does, i don't know what sabahan will call it since rojak already spesific to gado-gado over there. haha.

Ascap23 4th June 2009.

p/s: There is a lot of food i have not try in Sarawak. Example real mee kolok. Under the bridge they say. How to go under that bridge?

Food Entry

This time i made something different about my blog. It is about food. The picture above showing Auntie Lily special fried rice. It consist of fried rice plus sausage plus apple and carrot salad, fried egg, and fried chicken. It cost rm5.50. Nice right. Haha.

Since i wrote something about food, i would like to ask you all something. Do you ever think of how much do this food really cost? I don't think it reach rm5.50. However, i think i deserve from rm5.50 for this kind of stuff.

Sometimes i think that we are all been cheated everyday. We order Nasi Lemak for RM3 and we get a scoop of rice, and a little bit of chillies sambal, a few anchovies and 2-5 pieces of peanuts. We order Friend rice for RM4.50 and it consists of plain friend rice plus small size cube chicken and some monosodium glutamate. I don't think everything that we ate everyday reached this level of price.

Those restaurant owner start to put their own price to the food. Not like what we were teach before in our school. Do you remember when you were in secondary school, there is a topic called Kemahiran Hidup where there is a subtopic teaching us how to cook and how to calculate the price of what we cook. There is a formula in it. I don't really remember it spesificaly but i remember that we need to sum up everything, plus water and gas, then we need to divide it by thw quantity of the product. Do people do this anymore?

No! It is a wasting time to teach lesson today because no one will use that method. Today's method is much more simple. Put an example of a piece of donut. flour plus water plus butter plus sugar plus oil plus water and gas, no need to sum up just put 50 cent for each of those donuts. Why 50 cents? How do you derived to it? It is simple, because everyone sell donut 50 cents each. Why bother calculating?

Goverment are yelling everywhere trying to stop the increasing price of the food. It was totally politics because what i can see is the price always increase. Maybe that's why BN are called "Barang Naik".

Don't get me wrong. I think goverment play only a little bit role in this problem. The problem lies within the restaurant owner and trader, bussiness guy out there who knows the math but manipulate it. This is what we need to stop.

I guess one thing that can be done is to make price listing. wait, they already do that. How about we do something like this. We asked all the restaurant owner or whoever involved in selling food stuff to show how they calculate or how they they derived to the price of rm4.50 for a plate of fried rice. Simple. It is just like a price list board with more math symbol in it.

For example 1. Fried rice --> Rice (0.50) + chicken (1.00)+ onions and garlic (1.00)+ Oil (0.50) + seasoning (0.20)+water and gas(0.30) + labour (1.00) = RM4.50.

hahaha. People could be lazy to do this. But i really hate when the price is stated there but you don't know how they calculate it.

Nasi ayam Penyet = half chicken tigh with sambal and raw vegetables and a scoop of rice cost RM6. How did they derived to that price.

So, maybe more practical method can be done. But if information like this can be given to the customers, everyone will satisfied even if their meal cost RM6 or something. We must pay for what we deserve.
