Final Year First Posting

I finally in my final year of study.

As usual, no internet in the hostel. And not that much time to go online in library or wherever. Plus, i am lazy.

I'm changing to become a very hardworking person today. However, i contracted a fever. Then i lost my motivation.

I'm doing my O&G posting now in Likas Women and Child Hospital. It was nice, that hospital is fully air conditioned. Very cold everyday. Maybe that is why i have this fever right now. My immune system is not working well or maybe it is, that is why i'm killing all the virus with the high temperature within me.

I am a little nervous going through this final year as people expect me to know everything. However, i did not. But i do know things.

Study is quite interesting because everything is a revision for me now. Still there is a sign symptoms of failure that i have.



What is it?

I guess sign symptoms of failure includes:

1. Lazy
2. Overconfident
3. Lack of motivation
4. Unworried about exams.
5. Poor time management
6. Busy on other things
7. watching too much movies
8. Sleepy during lecture
9. Loss of concentration
10. Negative thinking.


i guess there are many more sign and symptoms for failure.

However, the interesting part is i heard a saying from my friend describing sign and symptoms of success (in exams).

He said as a medical student, to become successfull all you need are:

1. You know the exams questions and answers.
2. You know how to write
3. You know how to bluff.

Haha.

However this three things are not easy to get even though you study the whole night long.

What to do? Just pray.


By the way, i don't like O&G but i love the patients. Why? I guess all pregnant mother have something in their face making them look comforting and happy. Making me happy. Maybe because they were excited with their baby (especially the primigravida), or maybe it was their hormone.

Labuan Water problem ( Masalah Air labuan)

I'm sympatize on those people who did not have water supply in their house, those living in rural areas. I've been there. It must be difficult for them.

No!

I've talked to them, they wwere living their life in a good condition. Goverment gave them tank and they use it as a receptacle for rain. It always rain here in Malaysia. 'We only have difficulty when there is no rain like the last drought. Years ago. 1997 or 1998. We also have wells.' .

It must be hard for us, but not for them.

What hard is to pay a monthly bills for clean water supply but there is no water in reality. Only on those paper that we received by the end of the months should we 'see' water...or it cost. But there is no water technically.

This is what happen here in Labuan. A small island that you can neglect in the world map but it consists of more than 70 000 people living and craving for water for the last 11 years.

It all started during the last el nino on 1997. Water became dry in Sabah, as the only water supply to labuan is from Sabah, then all labuanese including me were having a tough time to live. With water enough only to drink but not to clean, it was difficult. Right after the drought, everyone think that it is all over but it does not. Every day for the next 11 years after that, there is still lack of water here in Labuan. The reason or excused given were broken pipe, not enough water pressure, broken pipe again, again broken pipe, and the latest one is Petronas taking too much water for their industry. Forget all that. If there is problem, there must be a way to fix it.

All i heard is they were going to fix this problem not until september. So we must suffer until then. Why so long? The reason is goverment need to buy water pump to pump more water. What are they doing for the last 11 years? Waiting for that pump to come? Poor management. It is always poor management here in Labuan.

Did goverment privatise Jabatan Kerja Raya? Well does this is the result of privatising? I thought privatising is way to serve better service to the people.

Everyone is suffering here in Labuan. The most 'dry' place is said to be Taman Mutiara, Matrikulasi Labuan, UMS labuan, but they forget those village as they are only looking narrowly to only these places. Let me tell the truth that every villages have the same problem here in Labuan. You must be saying that i am lying but why do i have to? I am living in this island and i know eerything, i am not living alone. All people were talking about it.

Good enough if some places get their water for 1 hour or 2 hour per day but in my area, no water for 4-5 days, or even weeks.

My true story, there is always water problem in my house, when i enter Sekolah Menengah Sains Labuan, still the same problem. When i enter Matriculation College, there is still water problem. When i enter university outside labuan..thanks god, there is no problem in water supply. But when i get back for holiday to labuan, there are still water supply problem, lack of water supply in Labuan. I am in my final year of study. Fifth year of study. Since my secondary school until now? How long is that?

How are we going to get water for ourselves? River? We don't have river here in Labuan or even there are, it would not be safe to be drinked. Collecting rain water? yes, that is one solution. Going back to the old age.

Thing become worse when rain did not provide enough water so the only methods is to asked for water from those Jabatan or now they call it KTAK or something. Privatised. They can send water by tank lorry when there is crisis like this however, as i said 70 000 people in labuan, and they only have not more than 10 truck i think. Or only 2. Last time i heard that they only have 2 truck.

Thing become more worse ( more than worse), when those people working to supply water with the truck are acting rude to us. We only asked for water, and your job is to sent it. Yes we understand there are lot of people asking for water but, why do you have to raise a voice? Are they tension and stress because lot of people beg for water. BEG FOR WATER!. Why there is such problem in the first place? Is it because of the people in labuan use too much water or have too many kids that wasted a lot of water? Or because of your incompetency and mismanagemet of resources causing this problem?

We are customer in the first place. This is trader customer relationship. They give water, we pay, we shut up. They did not give water, we pay, we won't keep it shut.

In the end, the water will arrive by the end of every month, but in the form of paper. paper with numbers stating how much we should pay for this month. While there is no actual water arrived in our house....

Lampu Brek Ketiga jokes.

Traffic rules is rational and created by those with the brain. However, sometimes it can be very idiot and stupid practically.

This is what happen to me. I am a very particular person of law and rules. I checked my car and everything before getting on to the road. I hate breaking rules. If i can stay clean i will stay clean forever. I am the most clean person on the road i think. Never got summoned. Haha.

But bad luck is always around the corner. And i feel the reason why i got caught and fined this morning was a total joke.

I checked my car, and then i drive my car. There is a road block and i don't care. I did not do anything wrong. My road tax is brand new, my license updated, all my tire is brand new and i am raedy for it.

However those police asked me to get off to the side of the road. must be something wrong.

After i gave my license, without any clue, he then said to me..

"Encik melakukan satu kesalahan, iaitu lampu brek ketiga tidak menyala."

I was so blur then i asked, "Which one?" Then he said again and then i asked again by turning my head 180 degree to the back. Then he point his finger to the brake light and without seeing that light i just say "oo".

I got a fine. haha.

What is the joke here?

Let me clarifiy.

First, he said i am the one who make mistake....what the f. Those lamp burnt now it is my fault?.. This is funny but still rational, i should check it first. I did.

The second thing is, do you get it when i try to turn my head 180 degree to look at the brake light and i still could not see it. Then how am i supposed to know the brake light went off when i was driving? Magic? Or maybe the car behind me gave me a call telling me about that? ( if supposed he would know my phone number or even know me at all). Or even when i am not driving, i should press the brake while i left my head behind the car? Or suddenly asked a pedestrian to stand behind my car and watch my brake light? No other method to do if you are a solo guy driving a car and suddenly brake lamp went off and in front of you there is a road block. Pure bad luck.

It was totally a joke. Rules sometime so stupid and make unlucky person like me has to pay a penalty which considered to be stupid.

I did not know why they make this kind of rules. However, if i talk rationally here, i guess the rules have to apply to those people who really do not obey the rules.

And to those people using new car which have warning if one lamp on their car went off. I am driving 1983 nissan sunny 130y. I never get any warning if one of my lamp does not want to turn on.

Stupid.

Religion is free

Why those people living in non-muslim country have a hard time to practive islam religion.

Why france keep prejudice to those people wearing hijab?

Why lot of country prohibited hijab or at last discriminate them?

Why lot of country blame islam as a terrorist?

Why Islam is being criticized as it is the only religion which is not supposed to exist?

I am truly happy to live in Malaysia where i can practice my religion freely and live with other religion in one place.

what did i do so that i can feel free like this?

Simple..i am not religous. I pray 5 times per day, study Koran, and do what i can and avoid what i cannot do in my religion.

And the most important thing, i did not bother about power and conquer which mean trying to convert other or make other believe what i believe. This is esential to live in harmony.

I understand that some or almost all religion order their people to convert each other, but i did not bother about it. Why? I will go to hell with this attitude? I hope not.

Because i don't want to become offensive to other religion. It's annoying when someone come to you and tell you story about how true is their religion. Even i myself feel annoyed when i do that to someone else. To know the truth, we must study and find the truth. Not by asking someone to believe what we believe.

This goes to all religion that i have encounter. Islam, christian, buddha, hindu, and science. Everyone must not try to convert each other. If their religion is good enough, surely someone will join with an open heart.

Truly my opinion. Religous people must hate me a lot. haha.

Labuan Bridge

Today, a lady came to my house doing survery regarding Labuan to Mempakul bridge. The bridge that have been anticipated for a very long time. It is like labuan's dream came true if they built that bridge.

Why do they need to take respond from every person in labuan regarding that bridge. They did gave rational answer to my question, they want to know whether people of labuan really want that bridge. hell yeah they do.

Who did not want a bridge from Labuan to the mainland? Who one to be isolated here in this island with the only way out is by those dangerous motorbot, or that fan-dropped ferry to menumbok ( i heard from my father that only big ferry to menumbok lost one of his engine fan a few days ago making it like a handicap. Driving through the sea by only one fan, so slow), or by once a day flight to Kota Kinabalu. I am sure not many labuan choose to use airplanes. One flight? And even i checked in airasia a few weeks ago, there is no flight listed. Why? Maybe error in their server or maybe there is really no flight to KK. haha.

So who did not want a bridge from Labuan to Sabah? anyone? yes... there are person who did not want it. I am quite shock about this answer given by that lady who did survey in my house. she said that there is some people who opposed that bridge.

Let me tell you that i, too, opposed to that bridge earlier ( a few years ago) when it was announced by Tun Abdulah. However, with serious discussion, opinion, thinking, finally i change my seat. I agree with it because of the benefit.

Maybe person who opposed never felt the slowness of that ferry everytime ( hundred times) i used it to go to labuan or go back to Kota Kinabalu. Maybe they did not know how old is that ferry. it is a ferry that was bought from Korea, and if you ever ride that old ferry you will know that Korea must throw that ferry in their trash. To old. And we labuan people use it as our main transportation to sabah? How old are we?

And maybe those people did not know how stuffy is that 3 hours journey to Kota kinalu by express ferry? How many bacteria and virus you inhale during that journey. stuff in that cabin with no view to outside enviroment ( for second class), it was terrible. I never took that express anymore after having a bad experience inhaling someone's puke odor for 3 hours in that ferry!!

Maybe they did not see the hazard of riding speed boat to menumbok? How many times people complain about them, the safety precaution, speed limit and everything. Just ignore it by them. Those television or authority from semenanjung will not reach labuan that fast to exposed them.. And the authorities in labuan.....

Those bridge will burst the economy of this island. All the product from this island can be brought to the mainland and all the supply we need from the mainland can reach labuan when that bridge is built. Do you know how big a cabbage from kundasang when it reaches labuan? 1/4 of the orginal size. Why? Because it took a long time to reach labuan? Why long time? because the only method to transport by car or lorry is through one old ferry.

I believe those who opposed are people who are related with the industries of monopoly-ing labuan people to pad rm54 for ferry or rm15 for the speed boat. I guess every sea method of getting to the mainland except the 3 hours ferry to Kota Kinabalu will be bankrupt after this.

So maybe people would think about them later. How they would survive after the bridge is built. However, for me, if you can bring benefit to millions, and loss to hundred, why don't we choose millions. Darwin's theory is real. haha.

If those bridge isn't built because of the opposing people, i will curse labuan for 7 generations.

Why don't Langkawi has a bridge?

The answer is within langkawi itself. You can live in langkawi without getting to the mainland.

Try and live in Labuan without ever going to the mainland... labuan is nothing except a beautiful island to relax and have your simple life. But if you stay long enough, somehow, you need one or two days to become complicated and rock you world a bit. haha.

Maybe i am being bias since i spend more of time in Kota Kinabal nowadays. but when i miss labuan, i really want to go back as soon as possible. And it seem that as soon as possible is impossible without that bridge. ( ticket from Menumbok to Labuan already sold out). Where should my car go?

Isreal can attack Iran?

What actually the f--- is going on around American's brain? They are totally not a type of people which i should let my generation learn from them.

Why did i say this? Because i just read that American let Israel attack Iran nuclear station because of this reason 1. Israel is sovereign country, and 2. Israel can think and protect themselves from Iran nucleaer power.

Well, if you are a kid or teenager or something, this is quite rational. But if you are old enough, you must think about the consequences and what image are they trying to reflect here. As i'm not anti america, i always hope they are doing the right thing.

The problem is, if Israel want to attack others, they let them. But, if others trying to attack Israel..,no no no..that is terrorism.

And about the sovereign, i guess Iran is also a sovereign country. If america really want to show that they are fighting terrorism, no war should be allowed no matter who they are. Now is clear. Fighting terrorism is not about stopping the war and trying to achieve peace but more on to trying to destroy the middle east so that america and israel can achieve peace.

I can say here, Iran is doing something wrong because that country is too aggresive on its nuclear power. But if you start to attack first, you will always be the one who are wrong. If a robbers want to rob a bank, and you rob the robbers first and you said the robbers is guilty because he want to rob a bank, it does not make sense.

World will never achieve peace if there are people like this. Not only america and israel, but to all the people who like to start a war. anyone. hamas, iran, al-qaeda, taliban, america, israel, world will be better without them.

Malay origin

One 21 gun, lay down your arm, give up the fight, throw up your arms into the sky...

If you are doing your homework and you end up reading this blog, well you went to the wrong place for an answer, but you are in the right place for a question.

I always doubt thing. I like to think. I supposed that God does not give us mind and brain just and ask us to stop thinking and forget everything, just pray. No way. God teach adam and even the angels say "i don't know" to the question that God give to adam. So i think.

What i think is regarding the origin of malay. Surely i will go and search for a book for this matter. Yeah, but i still do not have a clue on which book to read. Maybe i will meet the perfect book for my question here.

My question is, if Malay, i am not speaking on 'ethnic group here but more to the race. The malays, where does it started?

I'm watching a television this morning regarding homestay in Kelantan. They quote " if you want to look at the oldest malay tradition, you must go to Kelantan where Malay tradition were kept for generation". True. However, i have study that Malay is not only consist of Malay. I'm speaking of the group here. The Malay group. As most people know that a malay group consist of every other ethnic group including the dayak, dusun and jawa, and others. I don't want to discuss that here. it will be very long.

In particular, one of the branch of that group exist longer than any other branch. Do you know what i am talking about? About the origin of human in this region. What they found in sarawak proven to be the first man here in this region. That bone is older than any other history og mankind in this region. So why does every ethnic group in borneo are under the Malay group?

Aren't they supposed to be on the top of that family tree?

I guess non of the readers of this article know what i mean here... hahahaha. I just love to explore to this matter.

I know that there is a lot o theory on the origin of Malay. The most accepted theory is we are migration from China (which most Malay don't want to accept this i guess). Malay also means 'migrate' which refer to the high mobility of this group of people around the southeast region of asia.

I've read that they were 4 type of race in De generi humani varietate nativ. The four is caucassion, ethiopian, american and mongolian. Some anthropologist add Malay to be the fifth later but i don't know whether this is accepted now since mixture of races is going global today. This thing is quite nonsense if people classify race by colour.

And other theory saying that we are under mongolian group. Which i think can be possible since Mongolian is a very powerful back then. No problem for them to establish here in southeast asia.

Where actually did we came from? Why Brunei Malay is different from Malay coming from Semenanjung even though we have a lot of thing in common. And what about Malay in Sarawak? Where did malay came from?

Hmm....

Contreversial Quran

Lot of people ignore on discussion regarding the history of Quran.

Lot of western scholar always argue that the modern quran was not authentic as it was claimed. They are variation from the early found quran and the modern one.

One great phenomenon was the suddenly found ancient quran in sana mosque which nowadays they called it Sana' Codex. It was so early dated back at around 650-700 bc. I forgot the real date for that quran but it was so near to the death of Prophet Muhammad, pbuh. Now the codex was one of the most valuable treasure on earth and UN have decided to make sure it was taken care.

However, again, lot of contrevesy arise when those non-believers of islam start to rise up an issues that they are different in sana' codex and other ancient codex compare to the modern quran. Even the person who are doing the ongoing research to study the text did not claim anything yet, however, those person who are thinking with their closed mind start to say, quran is false. it was created by mere human.

It was so funny to look at those people.

There is also a problem in islam site. Some argue not to examine those treasure, and ask only to preserved it. This is not a wise thing to do since it will raise more question to those people who are waiting to destroy other person religion.

Dr.Gerd puin, who are studying this codex mention in a magazine that he say that this sana codex proof that there is variation in calligraphic history of quran. I am not that surprise as those who hate quran so much. why? Because i've read quran. At least once. And at least two version of it. When i said two version, don't misuderstand that there are two version of quran, no, the different between the two is the way they write the word. The meaning is always the same. (it is just like the old bahasa melayu where baca was spelled as bacha long time ago).

This is why i was not surprise when Puinn quote that thing. I will became surprise if it is proved that the old sana' meaning is different and told muslim not believed in Allah or Muhammad, that is a surprise. But i guess it will not. haha. trust me.

Even in Mar. 1999 Puin himself wrote a letter to the president of the General Organization Of Antiquities and Libraries of Yemen and it was published in the country's newspapers:

"The important thing is that these Yemeni Quranic fragments do not differ from those found in the museums and libraries elsewhere, with the exception of details that do not touch the Quran itself, but are rather differences in the way words are spelled. This phenomenon is well-known, even in the Quran published in Cairo in which is written (in Arabic text).


In an open mind, i hope Muslim should understand the positive thing in studying the earliset quran. however, we must keep in mind that during the collection of quranic verses, they were a lot of argument arise until Khalifa Uthman take a very wise action to destroy other version of quran which is not proven to be authentic. This is wise, because if a street man create his own sentences of quran and muslim just follow it, it would be stupid. Try to learn the history on how they try so hard to make sure that every sentences is the sentence coming from Prophet Muhammad from Allah. (however, lot of ignorant people start to call that Khalifa Uthman act was unwise and merely a cover up to destroy the real version of quran).

Anything came out from the study on sana's codex would be very interesting. Maybe we did miss something that was told by Prophet Muhammad and we should not miss that forever. Islam was a new religion brought by prophet Muhammad. Because it was new, compare to other, it must be easier to study it.

p/s: I was a little concern about people who hate islam but study islam to attack islam. this is not right. I guess if I study christian, would i study it because i hate Jesus or try to say that christian is wrong? That is not a way of studying thing. It's a bias.

Even in Islam teaching never said not to believe Jesus. If people did not know, Islam is more like correcting and not an antagonist as it was pictured today in the media. I've read the quran and i remember some senteces said that those al kitab or ahli kitab (meaning people following jesus or moses) will also get their reward from Allah if they followed what really jesus tell and moses tell to them


Enough said. Don't be rude.

Labuan Food

When you came to Labuan, you would complain of the food. This place got nothing to eat. Only got KFC, Pizza and McD ( some people missed that 1901 stall. I love 1901).

Let me tell you that labuan is not a city, it is a town. A small town. It was a great thing that Labuan got 2 kfc and pizza, and mcD and 1901. When you go to Sabah, i believed if that place got KFC, it is quite modern already. This small island is very lucky to have all those thing.


Lot of people complained of the food in labuan. tasteless, yerk, you should go to my place and you will see what food really is.....


Those people are ignorant people. Too ignorant to use brain to think and to use heart to consider.

However, for the first time, i would agree regarding the food. it is not that good. I remember 10 years ago maybe or 15 years, where all Labuan's food is cook with the heart and it was simple yet delicous. But nowadays, lot of stall and restaurant in Labuan own by Labuan people but the food is cooked by those immigrant. Not to be racist, but their cooking is sucks. haha. Where are those Labuanese who know how to cook? Obviously they were in their house, so eating good food in Labuan, does not mean eating outside.


Lot of Labuan's cuisines are not spicy. This is reality. I guess not many Labuanese eat spicy food. Now they are. Some of them. This is the influences bring by those people migrating from Semenanjung. As you can see, some people in labuan also call them immigrant. They are dominating goverment sectors, grabbing all the job in this small island and living labuanese to become nothing but a drug dealer. haha.


I did not agree with this. Yes they are plenty of them here, plenty of them in office and everywhere, but this is the price we pay for them as Labuan was taken as a federal territory. I believed that Labuanese also have that potential to compete. but lack of effort make them work in tie, while we work in the fish market. So don't get it wrong.

I love the food here in this island. Everyday i got to eat fish. Fish and fish. We seldom eat chicken. Now we have to eat chicken because the fish is becoming more and more expensive. I do not know why an island, sell an expensive fish.

If i want to eat outside, only some places i would choose to go, Mamak restaurant, because i did not cook mamak food in the house. Or i went to those seafood places. Not because their food is great but i just want to relax and ate my food at the beach.

KFC and other fast food is the same in other places.

I have this story regarding this. They are some of people i knew from Semenanjung, even said that KFC labuan is sucks. What the heck? That is too much. If people mock about the labuan cuisine, make sense because our tongue is vary from each person but to say KFC also sucks. Must be some problem there in the brain. better get a ct scan.

Honestly, sometime i also becoming a jerk. This is because I love to eat manhattan fish market, fish n co and all those franchise until i taste every food in labuan's restaurant tasteless. huhu.

One unique thing about labuan is, the good food is in chinese restaurant. yeah, i know, some people scared to eat in chinese restaurant. Pork in their mind. But in Labuan, lot of chinese restaurant are Halal.

Just mention Nam Thong, who did not know this historical restaurant, and those kentucky chicken rice beside Ambank was nice. Salad Chicken rice near jetty was good. But all those are chinese restaurant right? This is what so unique about Labuan.

I remember one time, bringing a religous person to eat in Labuan and the person back off because he scared to eat in chinese restaurant. This is a typical malay perception. however, in labuan, and sabah, and even sarawak ( i went to kuching last month) did not mind the concept of hybrid chinese malay restaurant.

However, beware because some chinese food in Labuan serve pork.

Forgot to mention Soto Labuan. The most favourite food in labuan. It is nice. But there are technique to eat this food. If you order and eaet just like that, you are doing it wrong and it must taste not too good. The technique is to fill the soup with soya sauce, some chillie and lime juice according to your taste.

Labuan Honey Chicken wing, this use to be a legend along time ago. I remember it was broadcasted in television as a way to promote labuan. The best chicken wing in Malaysia. I have to admit that. 10-15 years ago, those wings is heavenly taste. So nice. So tender, mild sweetness, all spices to the perfection. However, now, it was a legend. Today chicken wings just a normal honey chicken wing that you can bought at other places in sabah. Why the best chicken wing disappear? This is because of the ignorant people of labuan. Those chicken wing only sold at the road side. No one ever try to build a restaurant, a proper one or at least a permanent stall for it. Those chicken disappear.

I guess if you want to taste the chicken, it must be near Labuan Supermarket near bus stop. That place is where the legendary chicken wing use to be. I guess they were still there. However that place is dirty. I don't like it.

Other food? Ambuyat brunei style. Paha-paha,and all those malay brunei food, you cannot get from any restaurant in Labuan. Only serve at home. I wonder if someone have this idea to open a restaurant that sell traditional labuan cuisine. yeah. why not?

But if you want to taste the brunei food, just go to brunei. haha. Near labuan. Or go to Papar kota kinabalu.

Ahhhhhhhh.... i love labuan so much. I could not believe that i will live outside labuan in the future. But still, this place will become my love. The unbreakable love for this island.

Labuan is my favourite place

A small island, everyone hate it. No place to go. No big shopping mall. No delicious food, nothing. Hot. No water. This island is a rubbish.

This is what people always talk about labuan. But how much time they spend here in Labuan to make the statement? Some say long enough, i stay here for 4 years. damn Bullshit. 4 years kids does not know how to speak correctly for everyone information.

I stay in Kota Kinabalu for quite a long time. I love Kota Kinabalu, there is so many thing to do, places to go and food to eat. I stay in Kuching for a month, i love that place. So interesting. I've been to Langkawi and that place was amazing. Truely a place where i want to live.

However, Labuan is my favourite place to stay. Why is that? Don't look at how many place you can go, or how many shop there is, but look at the simplicity of this small island life. So simple until you don't have to think about anything.

Do you need to consider when to go to the town and get some food supply in Labuan? No.
Do you need to think about traffic jam? No.
Do you need to plan where do you want to eat this weekend? No.
Do you need to stock a month of groceries in your house? No.
Do you need to think and plan on when do you want to go the beach? No.
Do you need to plan on anything on this island? No.

Everything you want is just 10 minutes away.

This place is so simple until you can call it mini of everything.

There are big futsal arena, longball arena, pool, mini arcade game, Kbox, clothing outlets, KFC, McD, Pizza hut, club and pub, hotel, giant, cd shops, a few bakery, cybercafe, good streamyx area, we got 6 petrol station, we have beach around us, we have hill in the centre, we have multiple historical places, we have our own museum, we have our own birdpark, fishing spot, deep sea fishing spot, ship wreck for divers, international event for everyone to enjoy, a big auditorium for concert, small cineplex ( i hate this one), cheap cars, cheap chocolate, cheap liquor, even all the fast food restaurants are cheaper because they have no tax, and in fact lot of artist went to labuan to perform every year....

Everthing is available in labuan. It is a mini of everything.

The life is so simple. I don't know why people hate and being negative to labuan. Is their kampung over there got everything i mention above? I believe only capital city in every state got that. We are not capital city...

We are just a small simple island where everyone know each other...
